Adama Traoré must wait to make his Deportivo debut, with coach Antonio Hidalgo ruling him out of the match against Valencia.

According to AS, Deportivo are working to balance their squad before Monday, with the aim of signing Brazilian centre-back Juan Jesús.

The L'Hospitalet winger signed on Wednesday until 2028, arrived in Galicia, and trained under Hidalgo on Thursday.

Hidalgo welcomed the signing, noting Traoré will add pace, one-v-one threat and the ability to exploit space at this level, but stressed patience after a long spell without team training, recent travel and a change of city, describing him as an explosive player.

He will be registered with LaLiga in the coming hours as a new Deportivo player. His shirt number has not been revealed, though it will probably be 17, one of three still available.
