Adams flies out for Venezia medical in deal worth total €23m | OneFootball

Nigeria international Akor Adams is reportedly on his way to Italy, where he will finalise a transfer worth €23m including add-ons to Venezia from Sevilla.

The negotiations have been going on for several weeks and finally reached a breakthrough over the weekend.

According to Sky Sport Italia and the Daily Post, Adams is already travelling to the Peninsula and should arrive this evening.

He can then undergo a medical and sign the contract with his new club.

It is expected to be completed for a fixed fee of around €17m, plus a further €6m in various performance-related add-ons.

The 26-year-old centre-forward only joined Sevilla in January 2025 when making the move from Montpellier for €5.5m.

Adams has six goals in 15 senior caps for Nigeria, along with two assists for his teammates.

Meanwhile, Venezia have made way for the new arrival by sending centre-forward Daniel Fila back to Serie B for Avellino, a loan move that was made official this afternoon.
