Mali and Zambia go head-to-head on Monday as they kick off their campaign at the Africa Cup of Nations – AFCON 2025. This encounter marks the opening matchday of Group A.
The Eagles of Mali have reached the second round in each of the last three editions of the tournament. Boasting a strong squad, Tom Saintfiet's men are aiming for a deep run this time around.
Crowned African champions in 2012 under Hervé Renard, Zambia no longer possess the same firepower, and their main goal will be to improve on last year’s group stage exit in 2023.
The clash between Mali's Eagles and the Chipolopolos is set for Monday, December 22, 2025, at 14:00 GMT.
The match will be broadcast on beIN Sports, the tournament’s official broadcaster, whether on beIN SPORTS 1 in France or on beIN Sports Mena. New World TV, Canal+ CAN, and Canal+ Afrique’s 100% CAN channel will also air the competition. The host country’s channel, Arryadia, will serve as another official broadcaster.
