Tunisian defender Hamza Mathlouthi has officially closed the chapter with Zamalek, bringing an end to a five-season journey in which he proudly wore the Cairo club's colors. The management has decided not to renew his contract, which expired at the end of the past season.This decision comes in the wake of a serious injury suffered last January: a ruptured cruciate ligament that sidelined him for several months.Currently undergoing rehabilitation in the United Arab Emirates, Mathlouthi hopes to return to the pitch by October, according to his medical program.
