After João Neves, Paris Saint-Germain step up efforts to secure Senny Mayulu.

The Paris Saint-Germain board is pushing forward with its strategy to secure both its established stars and its most promising young talents. Buoyed by last season's silverware, the capital club is seeing its players' market value soar and is acting swiftly to safeguard its prized assets.

With this in mind, PSG recently wrapped up the case of Portuguese midfielder João Neves, reaching an agreement to extend his contract until June 2030.

According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, the player has agreed to commit long-term, signing a new deal that comes with a pay rise. This information has also been confirmed by French daily Le Parisien.

Paris now opens the Mayulu file

But the Parisian club isn't stopping there. According to Foot Mercato, management has begun talks with their young gem Senny Mayulu to also extend his contract through to 2030.

At 19 years old, Mayulu is considered one of the brightest prospects to come out of PSG's academy. With outstanding technical skills and a real knack for making a difference in attack, he's attracting growing interest across Europe.

Although his current deal runs until 2027, the PSG hierarchy wants to get ahead of the game and avoid any future pressure by quickly tying down his future.
