Serie A side Atalanta were dealt a huge blow in their attempts to sell Ederson, as Manchester United pulled out of a deal. There were concerns over his medical condition, with the Red Devils having anyway sealed a move for Andrey Santos.

Orazio Accomando has now reported about Ederson’s future, clarifying that the Brazilian remains on the market even now.

Atalanta want around €45 million to sell him, which is approximately the amount Manchester United were ready to pay for his signature. Now, Newcastle United are in the picture for him and the journalist warns about their possible move.

He also expresses belief that there are no concerns from Atalanta about the player’s fitness and Manchester United’s own intentions have made sure they have now moved on.

Because of how everything has gone down, clubs could have concerns about Ederson and this could help Newcastle United sign the player for a lower price. Towards the end of the window, Atalanta could become desperate for a sale and this can force them to go below the current valuation.
