Agent rules out any Inzaghi request to sign Raphinha | OneFootball

With the summer transfer window approaching, several FC Barcelona players are once again being linked with moves away from the club. This is also the case with some players who are key parts of Hansi Flick’s team.

Among them is Raphinha, who has recently returned from injury and continues to attract attention from Saudi Arabia. In recent days, reports suggested that Al Hilal were preparing a major offer for the Brazilian winger, with Simone Inzaghi allegedly pushing for his signing.

However, those claims have now been firmly dismissed. Speaking to 365 Scores, as reported by SPORT, Federico Pastorello, the agent of Inzaghi, denied the rumours outright, stating:

He further stressed that all reports regarding negotiations or official offers for the Barcelona forward are unfounded, amid growing frustration in Saudi Arabia over repeated transfer links being used to generate speculation in the market.

Pastorello also made it clear that no transfer activity is currently being prioritised by the Saudi club, adding:

“Inzaghi has decided to postpone all matters related to new signings or potential departures until the end of the current season. He does not want the transfer market to distract a team focused on the final stretch of the campaign.”

While this clarification effectively shuts down the latest rumours, it does not entirely rule out future interest. Clubs in Saudi Arabia are still expected to explore high-profile signings once the season concludes, although no concrete proposal for Raphinha exists at this stage.

At the same time, the player’s own situation adds another layer of intrigue. Raphinha is understood to be reflecting on his long-term future as he approaches his 30th birthday, aware that this could represent his final opportunity to secure a major contract abroad. Despite these considerations, both the player and his family remain happy in Barcelona.

Within the club, there is calm over the situation. Barcelona’s sporting department is aware of the winger’s internal deliberations but remains confident that he will ultimately reaffirm his commitment and could even extend his stay.

For now, Raphinha continues to be an important part of Flick’s squad, and with no concrete offers on the table, his immediate future remains tied to Barcelona despite the ongoing speculation.
