One of the longest serving Crystal Palace women’s players has committed her future to the club with Aimee Everett signing a deal.
Everett has played for the Eagles since 2021 and has signed a new two-year contract at the club.
The Crystal Palace midfielder has remained a consistent star for the Eagles during her career so far.
Although the club was relegated to the WSL2 last year the 23-year-old has decided to stay with Palace as they look to immediately bounce back to the top flight.
Two teams will be promoted to the WSL next season as the women’s league begins its expansion.
“I’m really excited to extend my contract and I can’t wait to get back on the grass.” Everett said after signing her new contract.
“Every season has brought something different, and my ambition is always to do the best we can and leave the club in a better place each year.”
Everett has played 82 games for Palace in her four years at the club.
Relegation won’t be something that the youngster is worried about having captained the side during their Championship-winning campaign in 2023/24.
Pre-season for the Eagles is just around the corner and the club has two games booked ahead of the new campaign.
Palace will face off against Portsmouth on August 9th before Southampton on August 24th.
The Saints fixture could be an important one with Palace playing them in their second fixture of the 2025/26 WSL2 campaign.
Crystal Palace haven’t made any new signings yet this summer however they have extended contracts of key players including Josie Green, Chloe Arthur, and Isabella Sibley.
The club did lose assistant manager Adam Jeffrey, who decided to take a role in the WSL with West Ham.
