AJ Auxerre extend Lassine Sinayoko contract to 2027 with option before PSG clash | OneFootball

Ahead of hosting PSG on Friday night, AJ Auxerre announced a new contract for Lassine Sinayoko. The club said in a statement that the 26-year-old has extended until 2027 with an option for a further year. He had been due to be out of contract at the end of the season.

The surprise update arrived minutes before kick-off for the Ligue 1 clash, which began at 20:00. The fixture opens matchday 19.

Sinayoko has been with the Yonne club since 2017, breaking into the first team in 2021.

Last summer he drew interest from Lens and there were genuine possibilities of a move, but he stayed.

He recently returned from the Africa Cup of Nations after Mali were knocked out in the quarter-finals by Senegal, 1-0, on 9 January. He starts against PSG tonight.
