Hansi Flick has already called up several of these youngsters for the start of the preseason training, on 13th July, especially as several first team players would be unavailable at this point of time due to the World Cup or vacations.

Meanwhile, the Catalans are also working on the departures of some of their young players who are ready to take the next steps in their careers. One such player for whom the Blaugranes are looking for a new club is the young fullback Jofre Torrents.

A recent report suggested that Barcelona were looking to send the defender on loan to ensure his continued growth and development. Now, another report from Mundo Deportivo has revealed the name of one of the most notable clubs that are interested in him, Ajax Amsterdam.

The Eredivisie side is looking to strengthen its left-back position, as area that has experienced quite a lot of turbulence during the last season. The presence of Jordi Cruyff in the sporting structure of the Dutch club can facilitate this transfer, and the youngster would get to play under the former Girona coach Michel at Ajax.

After spending a significant part of the last season, from February to the end of the campaign, on the sidelines due to a left ankle injury, the fullback has already fully recovered. Now, Jofre Torrents looks to be quite ready to take the next step in his career, after having made his debut with the first team under Hansi Flick last season, and Ajax would be a particularly well-suited side to ensure his continued growth and development.
