Ajorque rescues Brest with stoppage time header as unbeaten start continues | OneFootball

Brest and Toulouse drew 2-2, with Ludovic Ajorque equalising in the fifth minute of second half stoppage time, as Brest remain unbeaten after two Ligue 1 games and Toulouse collect their first point.

Jacen Russell-Rowe put Toulouse ahead in the ninth minute, finishing a through ball from Yann Gboho. Kamory Doumbia levelled for Brest from close range after a corner (18.).

After the restart, Christ Tapé restored the visitors' lead with a glanced header from Cristian Casseres' set piece cross (62.).

Brest threatened repeatedly, striking the woodwork three times and forcing Guillaume Restes into five saves. Substitute Hugo Magnetti then delivered a set piece cross for Ajorque to nod in the equaliser in the fifth minute of second half stoppage time.

Brest registered 26 attempts and kept pressing late on. Toulouse mustered six attempts and made a string of clearances under pressure.

The point keeps Doumbia on two Ligue 1 goals this season, joint second in the division's scoring chart. Brest visit Le Havre next. Toulouse host LOSC next.
