Al-Hilal have been boosted by the return to training of Hassan Tambakti and Mutaib Al-Harbi, while Simon Bouabri will miss the next two league games.

According to Goal.com, 72 hours before hosting Al-Taawoun at the Kingdom Arena on Saturday, the pair joined the first part of Wednesday’s group session before continuing their rehabilitation programmes.

Both were injured on Saudi Arabia duty during March’s camp, which kept them out of the friendlies against Egypt and Serbia. Their involvement this weekend is now close.

Sultan Mandash attended the club’s medical clinic on Wednesday after suffering an ankle injury on international duty following the Egypt friendly.

Medical tests have shown Bouabri needs a treatment and rehabilitation plan lasting between one and 10 days after a hamstring problem with France Under-21s, confirming his absence for league games against Al-Taawoun and Al-Khulood on four and eight April, in rounds 27 and 29 respectively.

He departed after 32 minutes of France Under-21s’ 5-1 win over Luxembourg Under-21s last Thursday, then returned to Riyadh for treatment. Al-Hilal are second in the Saudi Pro League on 64 points, three behind leaders Al-Nassr.
