Al Ittihad submit bid for Eintracht Frankfurt target Raphael Onyedika | OneFootball

Al Ittihad have submitted an official bid to Club Brugge for Raphael Onyedika after Eintracht Frankfurt made their opening approach on Wednesday, according to a report by Fabrizio Romano.

It comes less than one week after Frankfurt reached a verbal agreement to sign the Nigerian midfielder – who, with 12 months remaining on his current deal, is valued at around €10m by his current employers.

As Frankfurt gear up for 2026/27 under returning head coach Adi Hütter, they’ve already secured the services of German youth international Noël Aséko from Bayern Munich for €13m.

The Hessen club have a surplus in transfer revenue following the high profile departures of Nathaniel Brown (Bayern Munich, €50m), Aurèle Amenda (Coventry City, €18m) and Rasmus Kristensen (Midtjylland, €6m), while re-investing that in the aforementioned Aséko, Malik Pimpong (Midtjylland, €3.5m) and the returning Noel Futkeu (Greuther Fürth, €1.3m), who is expected to leave the club.
