Alex Sandro ‘to consider’ Flamengo exit in 2027 | OneFootball

Alex Sandro is under contract with Flamengo until the end of 2026, and the club are weighing a one-year extension. The left-back is, however, evaluating a possible departure in 2027.

According to GE, he has told close friends he is thinking about moving to a league with lower intensity than Brazilian football, as the sport in Brazil demands a very high physical level.

He joined Flamengo in August 2024 after leaving Juventus. The club paid no fee as he was a free agent.

In a season and a half he has lifted the Libertadores, Copa do Brasil and Campeonato Brasileiro with the club.

He remains with Flamengo for the rest of the season and is currently recovering from a muscle injury with the medical department. As a result, he will not be available to face Bragantino on two April in the Brasileirão.
