Ruhr Nachrichten reports that Borussia Dortmund left-back Alumgera Kabar is likely to leave the club in the winter.
Despite extending his contract earlier this year, Kabar has failed to assert himself in the first team at the Westfalenstadion. Now, the 19-year-old has expressed his desire to leave the club in the winter.
A loan move is considered out of the question for Kabar and Dortmund as he no longer has a future at the club, especially with Daniel Svensson and Ramy Bensebaini ahead of him in the pecking order at left-back.
Kabar has only made three appearances this season, all coming for Dortmund’s second team, who currently play in the Regionalliga West. Whilst he has also found himself in the squad for 10 games for the senior side this season.
The left-back’s aim is to move to the Premier League, and several clubs from England, including Brentford, are interested in signing Kabar.
It has previously been reported that Brentford value the 19-year-old at €20m.
