América could have a full squad for the Clausura 2026 restart against Necaxa at the end of the month, with several returnees in training.
The squad have been working at Coapa ahead of the fixture. According to Americayya.net, Liga MX paused this week to allow Mexico to play two friendlies as preparation for the mid-year World Cup. The break has benefited América, offering recovery time after a disastrous start to the tournament.
Henry Martín and Erick Sánchez are now training with team-mates, so they could feature against Necaxa and in the matches that follow.
Only two players remain on individual programmes, Alejandro Zendejas and Rodrigo Aguirre, and both are expected to rejoin group training next week.
On the incoming reinforcement, indications point to Raphael Veiga, but the deal must be completed first. Only then will it be decided whether he is ready to debut against Necaxa or needs longer.
