América Femenil will face Tigres for the Campeón de Campeonas on 26 July at 7.30pm Central Mexico Time, with the tie to be played at Toyota Field in San Antonio, Texas, the United States.

According to Americayya.net, América Femenil have enjoyed a historic 2026, winning the Clausura and becoming the first Mexican club to lift the Concacaf W Champions Cup.

Their rise followed seasons in which they looked the Liga MX Femenil’s strongest side, yet key errors kept titles out of reach. That spell drew heavy criticism and calls for Ángel Villacampa to go.

It now seems they were on the right path and only needed to break that trophy barrier, helped by the quality across the squad.

Two more prizes are still on the line in 2026, the Campeón de Campeonas and the Apertura 2026. If América take the former, it would be the fifth in the club’s history and their first Campeón de Campeonas.
