The 19-year-old goalkeeper has signed a two-year contract extension until 2029.
Amil Siljevic will remain with Eintracht long-term after extending his contract, which was due to expire in 2027, until 30 June 2029. The Frankfurt-born goalkeeper has already worn the eagle on his chest for 10 years, progressing through all the academy age groups at Riederwald.
The 1.92 metre-tall shot-stopper made 26 appearances for Eintracht’s reserve team in the LOTTO Hessenliga last season, playing a key role in promotion to the Regionalliga. Siljevic was also an ever-present in the UEFA Youth League campaign, playing all eight matches in the run to the round of 16. The Bosnia U21 international has been a regular part of Jan Zimmermann’s goalkeeper group in first-team training and was included in the matchday squad for the first time on Bundesliga Matchday 31 against FC Augsburg.
“We see Amil as a goalkeeper with great potential,” said sporting director Timmo Hardung. “With this early contract extension, we’re underlining our confidence in his qualities and his close connection to Eintracht Frankfurt. We’re sure that he’ll find the right conditions here to continue on his path in a consistent manner over the coming years.”
