Amine Gouiri and Igor Paixao back in training sooner than expected for OM | OneFootball

Marseille have been handed a double attacking boost, with Amine Gouiri and Igor Paixao back in partial training ahead of Saturday’s trip to Nantes.

According to L'Équipe, in his Thursday press conference Habib Beye said both had rejoined the group earlier than anticipated and that their progress was encouraging. He added it does not mean they will start at Nantes at 15:00, though they should be able to travel.

Hamed Junior Traoré, ill for Sunday’s 1-1 draw with Nice after three days bedridden, is now fit. Mason Greenwood, recently troubled by a thigh, is feeling better.

CJ Egan-Riley, Geoffrey Kondogbia and Bilal Nadir are also progressing well, but the turnaround is too short for them to return to the squad this weekend.

Benjamin Pavard and Timothy Weah will be suspended. The fixture opens Ligue 1’s matchday 32.
