The curtain's officially fallen on the CAF World Cup qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, with 9 nation securing their spots at next summer’s global showpiece in Canada, Mexico and U.S.

After intense campaign that stretched over a year, the following teams have sealed direct qualification:

The 9 group winner booked their places directly while the 4 best runner up (Nigeria, Cameroon, DR Congo, Gabon) will fight for one final spot in the CAF playoff tournament in Morocco this November.

Top Scorers: Amoura Beats Salah to the Golden Boot

While collective glory went to the continent’s biggest teams, the individual spotlight fell on Mohamed El Amine Amoura.

The Algerian striker finished as top scorer of the African qualifiers with 10 goal powering his nation back to the World Cup stage.
