Ancelotti calls Flamengo goalkeeper Léo Nannetti into Brazil camp for United States friendlies | OneFootball

Flamengo goalkeeper Léo Nannetti received a call on Tuesday 24, with Carlo Ancelotti inviting the under-20 standout to join Brazil’s squad for the current FIFA window, according to Coluna Do Fla.

He will link up with the group preparing in the United States for friendlies against France and Croatia. The academy product will undertake a short training stint under the supervision of goalkeeping coach Taffarel.

This is not his first taste of senior work with Brazil. During the September FIFA window last year, the Flamengo under-20 number one trained with the squad at Granja Comary in Teresópolis, Rio de Janeiro.

He has won multiple youth honours with Flamengo and is one of the under-20 team’s leaders. In the Under-20 Libertadores in Quito, Ecuador, he played every match and was crucial to the club’s run to the semi-finals. Flamengo were then beaten in the final.

Brazil face France in Boston on Thursday 26 at 17:00 Brasília time. They then meet Croatia in Orlando on 31 March at 21:00 Brasília time.
