Anderlecht keen on signing former West Brom youngster from Örgryte | OneFootball

According to Sacha Tavolieri, Anderlecht are keen on signing former West Brom youngster Michael Parker. The 21-year-old who came through the West Brom academy currently plays in Sweden for Örgryte, who play in the topflight. Parker has played 10 games for the side this season so far, having only made the move to the club recently.

Parker never made a first team appearance for West Brom, instead spending time on loan at Hereford in the national leagues. Prior to joining the West Brom set up, Parker had been in the academies of both Huddersfield and Burnley.

Parker is valued by the Swedish side at €2m, while Anderlecht are reported to have only offered €1.5m. It is quite a turnaround for Parker, having left West Brom permanently just a few months ago to join Örgryte. He could be set to join one of the biggest clubs in Belgium as they look to rebuild and retool their side for the future.
