André Jardine departs as América’s most decorated coach

André Jardine is leaving Club América as the club’s most decorated head coach with six trophies. He joined in June 2023.
According to Americayya.net, he departs with a promise to return to manage América in the future.
He arrived from Atlético de San Luis. The decision was unexpected, with América having him as the fifth choice behind Diego Alonso, Juan Carlos Osorio, Javier Aguirre and Gregg Berhalter.
In little more than a year and a half he had already made history with the club.
His haul is three Ligas MX, one Campeón de Campeones, one Supercopa de Liga MX and one Campeones Cup.
Miguel Herrera won two Ligas MX, one Campeón de Campeones and one Copa MX.
Jorge Vieira claimed two Ligas MX and two Campeón de Campeones, while Raúl Cárdenas lifted one Liga MX, one Campeón de Campeones, one Concacaf and one Copa Interamericana.
