Andre Onana looks set to leave Man Utd after all as the club have reportedly agree a deal to offload him in the summer transfer window.
The goalkeeper has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford following a number of high-profile mistakes since his move from Inter Milan in 2023.
Onana has not featured in any of United’s opening three Premier League fixtures, and speculation over his future increased after the club signed Senne Lammens from Royal Antwerp on Deadline Day. They were also linked with a move for Aston Villa’s Emi Martinez.
Fabrizio Romano reports that Man Utd have reached a “verbal agreement” with Trabzonspor over a loan deal for the Cameroon international.
Although the two clubs have agreed on the terms of the arrangement, the “final decision” over whether the move goes ahead lies with Onana. “It’s only up to the goalkeeper,” Romano added.
The transfer window in Turkey is still open and won’t close until Friday, 12 September, meaning Premier League sides can currently sell players to Turkish clubs.
