Andreas Schjelderup has hailed José Mourinho and reflected on pivotal conversations with the Benfica coach while on Norway duty.

"A legend as a coach, I have learned so much from him," the 21-year-old told TV2.

"It is a bit surreal how things have changed in recent months."

"If what we talked about at the start was my worst day, then that was probably the best day of my life."

This season for Benfica, Schjelderup, valued at 14 million euros, has played 36 games, 21 in Liga Portugal Betclic, 10 in the Champions League, four in the Taça de Portugal and one in the Taça da Liga.
