Andressa Alves says she feels increasingly settled at Corinthians and prepares specially for derbies after scoring in the 2-1 win over São Paulo. According to Meu Timao, the midfielder spoke in the mixed zone in her second season after almost 10 years abroad.
The derby at Fazendinha on Monday night was her 54th appearance for the Brabas since joining in early 2025.
She described last year as a period of adaptation and said she now feels more at ease. Scoring in Corinthians colours and representing the Fiel remains a source of pride.
She has a record of 34 wins, 14 draws and six defeats, with 18 assists and 10 goals, and won the 2025 Brasileiro and Libertadores.
Two of her goals have come against São Paulo, making them joint top victims alongside Grêmio and América-MG. She said every clássico carries extra weight as a fan and she prepares to give 100 per cent.
Her affection for Corinthians predates her arrival. In late 2024 she watched a 3-1 win over Vasco and donated to the Neo Química Arena payoff campaign run by Gaviões da Fiel.
This season she is third in the team’s scoring with three goals, behind Jaqueline and Gabi Zanotti, and she leads with eight assists.
She could add to those numbers in the Campeonato Paulista Feminino on Thursday at 17:30, when Corinthians visit Red Bull Bragantino at Estádio Benito Agnelo Castellano in round 2, seeking a first win.
