Inter Milan striker Ange-Yoan Bonny addressed the press ahead of tonight’s Serie A clash against Lecce.
Speaking to InterTV via FCInterNews, the French striker urged his teammates to avoid complacency.
Inter will seek redemption for a disappointing 2-2 draw against fellow Scudetto rivals Napoli on Sunday.
Despite that setback, they boast a three-point lead over second-placed AC Milan and are on the verge of being crowned winter champions.
Therefore, Cristian Chivu will expect nothing less than a win tonight.
Meanwhile, Lecce head into proceedings on a four-game winless league run, bookended by a 2-1 home loss to Parma last weekend.
As a result, Eusebio Di Francesco’s men languish narrowly above the bottom three ahead of the kick-off.
Indeed, the visitors are staring down the barrel of another season-long fight against the drop.
However, Ange-Yoan Bonny refuses to underestimate Inter’s upcoming opposition.

Bonny understands Lecce’s current situation in the table and how it affects their approach in every game.
“It’s never easy to play against a team that’s fighting for its life in every match,” the 22-year-old said. “They need points just like we do.
“I think all 22 players will give their all today, and whoever plays better -whoever shows more hunger -will win.”
Bonny will take Lautaro Martinez’s place in the final third and partner up with Marcus Thuram.
Therefore, he returns to the starting lineup for the first time since the beginning of November.
Asked whether he expects to make his mark tonight, Bonny replied: “Hopefully. I don’t know if I’ll make my mark, but I hope to do well.
“We have a strong group of 25 players, plus the youngsters. I think everyone has a quality and can help the team, even those who play less.
“They all have a lot of quality, and whoever plays will do well.”

“We really care about winning this match and taking all three points,” he told DAZN via FCInterNews.
“I’m happy to be able to help the team today, and we’ll give everything to get the three points.”
Then, he confirmed that Inter are not feeling the pressure.
“I don’t know if there’s pressure.
“For me, it’s more of a boost for the team and the fans. We’re Inter, and we have to be first in everything.”
