Angel Gomes could leave Wolves this summer, with any decision on his future likely to come after the final game of the season.
According to ExpressAndStar.com, the Marseille loanee joined in the winter window and Wolves hold a six million pound option to make the move permanent this summer.
Rob Edwards said Gomes is keen to play at the highest level and added that he remains in contention for the last match against Burnley before any calls are made.
It has long been expected he would not stay at Wolves in the Championship.
“I haven’t spoken to Marseille and everything that goes on behind the scenes has been left with my agent and the clubs really.” He told The Athletic.
“I haven’t spoken personally to anyone at either club really. In these circumstances, the best thing I can do is leave it to my advisors.”
“Only time will tell, but my advisors and my agents will look after me.” “But coming back to England has never been the be-all and end-all for me in my career or in my life.”
“If there are opportunities to play for a team in England then it’s not something that I would turn down, but I’m open to playing anywhere.”
