Stuttgart said Angelo Stiller and Chris Führich have been called up by Germany to replace the injured Bayern Munich’s Aleksander Pavlovic and Borussia Dortmund’s Felix Nmecha.

The pair were initially left out when Julian Nagelsmann named his squad on Thursday, despite their form at the MHP Arena with Stuttgart sitting third in the Bundesliga.

An argument could be made that Stiller should have been in the initial squad. He has been a regular under Sebastian Hoeneß in midfield.

His recent performances have strengthened the case that he could start in the middle.

Nagelsmann has previously said he wants to use Leon Goretzka as a number six, despite the Bayern midfielder’s diminishing role in Munich.
