The drama behind the scenes at La Liga giants Real Madrid has this week continued to grab the Spanish media headlines.

This comes amid confirmation of yet another high-profile face-off between two of Los Blancos’ biggest stars.

The latest pair to exchange heated words? Federico Valverde, and Aurélien Tchouaméni.

Álvaro Arbeloa’s troops were put through their paces in training for the latest occasion on Wednesday morning, amid ongoing preparations for a showdown with arch rivals Barcelona.

Tensions are understood to be at an all-time high in Madrid at present, amid another trophyless campaign for the struggling capital outfit.

These woes have culminated in spats between a number of players of late, as Arbeloa and his coaching staff struggle to keep a lid on things.

And as alluded to above, earlier today, a fresh coming together was noted.

As per a report from Marca:

‘Valverde and Tchouaméni nearly came to blows after a heated argument. The two players confronted each other, pushed one another, and had a heated argument that continued in the locker room.’

The incident has been labelled as ‘one of the most heated exchanges ever seen at Valdebebas’.
