Another key summer for Dani Raba at Valencia CF | OneFootball

Dani Raba faces another pivotal summer at Valencia CF, his status transformed from a year ago. According to Superdeporte, the playmaker is not in Carlos Corberán's plans and has proposals to leave, yet pre-season has complicated the picture.

He arrived in 2025 after a standout year at Leganés, viewed as a smart opportunity. He teed up the first goal of LaLiga 25/26 at Mestalla, finished by Diego López, but slipped from Corberán's thoughts as early as matchday two.

Starting at El Sadar, he was the player sacrificed after José Luis Gayà was sent off on 26 minutes. His involvement through the first half of the season became sporadic, then in the second he was virtually absent.

Raba impressed in pre-season against Eldense, playing 45 minutes. He assisted Sato and scored the third, combining neatly and threatening consistently in the final third.

He might have claimed a second assist but his through ball for Jesús Vázquez preceded an offside. Like the other starters, he watched the second half from the bench. The question now is whether Valencia keep the door open or bring him into the fold for 26/27.
