Another trip to Vienna

Our lads are taking the road most travelled recently, as they head to Vienna for the second consecutive week. Our fifth clash with one of the Viennese giants since the beginning of March is scheduled for 14:30 CEST this Sunday in the championship group. SK Rapid will host us at the Allianz Stadium for Matchday 29 of the ADMIRAL Bundesliga. The match will be officiated by Christian-Petru Ciochirca of Graz.

Or team successfully navigated their double-header against Austria Vienna with two victories to regain ground on the top of the table. Now we are going away to Vienna, where the sector closures imposed due to the derby incidents have now been lifted – meaning both sets of fans will be supporting their heroes. That hasn't always helped Rapid this season, as their recent 0-2 defeat against Hartberg was already their sixth loss at home. Should our team win, Rapid Vienna would equal their worst-ever home record from the 2005/06 season.
We could also claim revenge for the disastrous doubleheader a few weeks ago, when Rapid prevailed both times, ultimately advancing to the championship group thanks to their home victory over us. And yet, history is in favour of Mads Bidstrup & Co. In championship group encounters, our lads have consistently performed exceptionally well against Rapid, winning 9 of the 13 previous matches.
The Austrian Klassiker will be broadcast as usual on Sky Sport Austria.
Not available are Takumu Kawamura (knee), Oliver Lukic (back) and Justin Omoregie (shoulder).
We're really looking forward to the match against Rapid. We expect a great atmosphere, and the stadium will certainly be buzzing. After our recent bitter defeats against them, we definitely have something to prove. Our two wins against Austria have boosted our confidence, and we want to finish this week in Vienna on a high note against Rapid. We're really looking forward to the match against Rapid. Rapid are a team that demonstrates its identity in possession and have some excellent footballers. We absolutely have to play very determinedly against them. We want to see the things we've been doing well recently reflected in our game, but we will also make some adjustments.

Our aim is to continue our winning streak and take three points at Rapid. But because they also have a lot at stake, we can expect highly motivated opponents and an intense match. After losing to them twice recently, we want to turn the tables this time.
