Ante Budimir clarifies his future before the World Cup | OneFootball

Ante Budimir has moved to shut down speculation over an exit, making clear he intends to stay with CA Osasuna. The Croatian will play at the World Cup with his country.

According to Superdeporte, his release clause drops to eight million euros until the first of August, then returns to 20 million euros.

In comments in his homeland, he set out that he feels great in Pamplona and has the continuity he wants. He enjoys life at the club, feels strongly attached to Osasuna and has never previously spent so long at one team.

Budimir has surpassed 15 goals in each of the last three seasons. That sustained scoring has drawn interest from multiple clubs in recent windows.

For now, his stance closes the door on a departure before the World Cup. Even so, if a major offer arrives and his clause is met, the situation could change, although indications are he will remain in Pamplona.
