The wait is almost over, Chivahermanos. Guadalajara's Apertura 2026 campaign is just hours away from kicking off, as the Rebaño Sagrado prepares to open the new season in front of its home fans tonight against Toluca at Estadio AKRON.

Following an intense preseason, Gabriel Milito has finalized the 21-man squad that will represent Chivas in its Apertura 2026 Matchday 1 clash with the Diablos.

Naturally, the Rojiblanca Nation is eager to see the club's newest additions in action. Both Kevin Castañeda and Jordan Carrillo have been included in the squad and could make their official Chivas debuts if the Argentine manager decides to give them minutes. In addition, all five of Guadalajara's FIFA World Cup players are available for the season opener.

Meanwhile, Efraín Álvarez was not included in the squad as he continues his rehabilitation following varicocele surgery. His return will depend on his recovery over the coming weeks.
