Argentina and Cape Verde trained in Miami ahead of their FIFA World Cup 2026 round of 32 meeting on Friday, July 3.
According to Inter Miami, both teams used the club’s facilities, with Argentina working at the Florida Blue Training Center and Cape Verde at Inter Miami CF Stadium.
The defending champions returned to the site with Inter Miami captain Leo Messi and midfielder Rodrigo De Paul involved, having prepared there before their title-winning runs at the 2022 World Cup and the 2024 Copa América.
Cape Verde’s session came during a historic debut at the finals, ahead of the African nation’s first-ever knockout tie. The visit was their first to the facilities.
Argentina went on to win 3-2 after extra time, and Messi scored.
The stadium and training centre have also hosted 2026 World Cup teams Colombia, Haiti, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, Scotland and Türkiye.
