Arrascaeta ruled out of Flamengo v Fluminense Carioca clash | OneFootball

Arrascaeta will not feature for Flamengo against Fluminense in the Campeonato Carioca, with Filipe Luís in the dugout.

According to Coluna Do Fla, the playmaker trained at Ninho do Urubu as he continues preparation for the 2026 season. Flamengo will also be without Danilo, Ayrton Lucas, Saúl, De La Cruz and Jorginho.

Jorginho had been a doubt but, after only one training session following wisdom tooth extraction, he was omitted from Filipe Luís’s squad.

The Fla-Flu kicks off at 18:00 Brasília time at the Maracanã, in the fourth round of the state championship. Rede Globo will broadcast the match live on free-to-air TV, with Premiere pay-per-view and GETV on YouTube also carrying it.

Since the first team returned to Carioca duty, Flamengo have recorded their first win of the campaign. They have four points from four matches and sit fifth in Group B. Fluminense are second in Group A with six points, two wins and one defeat.
