In a recent report, The Sun stated that Arsenal are close to recruiting Club Brugge winger Christos Tzolis. It has been mentioned that the Gunners are inching closer to acquiring the services of the Greek wide player in this transfer window.
Tzolis enjoyed a brilliant campaign at Club Brugge as he managed to put in a series of productive performances for them in the final third. The 24-year-old found the back of the net 22 times and earned 29 assists in 52 matches for the Belgian outfit last season across all competitions.
The Greek talent is currently among the most productive wingers in European football. Hence, it is no wonder that the Gunners are trying to get him on board this off-season.
His current deal at Club Brugge will expire in the summer of 2029, which could make it tough for Arsenal to sign him on the cheap later this year.

Tzolis is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet and can make a few dangerous runs with it out in the wide areas. He has got the eye to play some decisive passes in the final third and can shoot the ball with power from long range.
The Greek sensation can even contribute by scoring and creating a lot of goals for his team from the flanks. Tzolis mainly plays as a left-winger but can also operate as a right-sided wide player or as a centre-forward if told to do so. However, it remains to be seen whether he can adapt to the physicality and high intensity of the Premier League if the Gunners manage to sign him this off-season.
We can expect Tzolis to bring more goals and assists to Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta’s frontline. He is capable of challenging for a regular first-team place at the Emirates Stadium in the coming years.
At 24, Tzolis has his peak years ahead of him, which makes him a decent choice for the Gunners to pursue in this summer transfer window. Therefore, Arteta would be wise to step up his efforts to land him later this year.
