Arsenal expected to agree deal to sign Guimaraes – latest transfer reports

It is expected that Arsenal will sign Newcastle captain Bruno Guimaraes this summer.
That is according to various reports, with Newcastle said to be willing to accept an offer worth more than £70m for the midfielder.
The Brazilian has expressed his desire to join the Gunners, and BBC Sport say Arsenal aim to reach a full agreement in the coming days.
Reports from Newcastle journalists insist that there has been no direct contact between Arsenal and Newcastle about a deal, but that is expected to come.
Sky Sports say the 28-year-old is still expected to link up with his Newcastle team-mates for pre-season on Sunday, however.
Meanwhile, Sky Sports are also reporting that Manchester United are exploring a move for Newcastle left-back Lewis Hall.
They say that work has begun to understand how much a deal for the 21-year-old would cost.
Elsewhere, Manchester City boss Enzo Maresca has dismissed reports that Real Madrid will sign Rodri this summer as “speculation”.
Various reports have claimed that the Spanish giants will make a significant effort to try and sign the Spaniard.
With James Trafford closing in on a move to Leeds, City are said to be working on a deal to sign Gerónimo Rulli from Marseille as their new back-up goalkeeper, ESPN say.
Leeds, Nottingham Forest, and Everton are keen on Chelsea striker Liam Delap, say the i paper, with the striker valued at around £40m.
Bournemouth have agreed a deal with Benfica to sign defender Antonio Silva.
And Brentford are closing in on signing midfielder Mamadou Sangare for around £38.5m, according to the Evening Standard.
