Osimhen has been in decent form lately, scoring six goals in 15 outings so far. He is averaging 4.4 shots, 1.3 key passes, and 0.6 dribbles per game (stats via whoscored).
The Nigerian striker is lethal with his finishing skills around the penalty box. He marks an aerial dominance and is also comfortable on the ball. He often drops into the midfield to link up with his teammates and build attacks.
Unfortunately, things broke down between Victor Osimhen and Napoli which forced the player to join Galatasaray in the summer. He is bound to make a switch to a bigger club in the winter window or next summer.
For now, Arsenal recently established contact with Osimhen to discuss a potential transfer. The club need an upgrade for Kai Havertz, who is not a prolific striker and has seen a dip in form recently. Hence, the interest makes complete sense.
It’s still unclear whether the Gunners will be able to sign the 26-year-old in the ongoing winter window or not. As there’s not much time left before the window closes, a deal for the next summer could be formulated by Arsenal and the interested parties.
