The visitors ran out eventual 3-2 winners in Wednesday's first leg to put them in a strong position to face either Manchester City or Newcastle in March's final.
Ben White opened the scoring in the eighth minute at Stamford Bridge by capitalising on a Declan Rice corner to beat Blues goalkeeper Robert Sánchez comfortably.
In doing so, the defender ended a 43-game run since last scoring against the Gunners' London rivals, with whom he already had something of a history.
White's last goal for Mikel Arteta's side came as part of a brace during their 5-0 thrashing of the Blues in the Premier League on home soil back in April 2024.

Maybe it was meant to be?
