France have announced their squad for the March internationals, with Arsenal’s William Saliba included. France will play a couple of friendlies over the break, taking on Brazil on March 26th at 20:00 GMT and Colombia on March 29th at 21:00 GMT.
The bad news is that both games will be played in the United States, meaning a long flight across the Atlantic for the Arsenal defender.
The France game against Brazil will take place at the Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, and the Colombia game will be at the Northwest Stadium in Landover, Maryland.
That does at least mean both games are on the East Coast, but it’s still a longer journey than Saliba would usually face for games with France.

Saliba is one of a growing group of Arsenal players to receive call-ups so far, with Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Magalhaes both included in Brazil’s squad and Kai Havertz returning to the Germany squad for the first time since 2024. All four players will be playing friendly matches.
Viktor Gyokeres and Christian Norgaard have also been called up by Sweden and Denmark, but it’s worth mentioning that they actually have competitive fixtures coming up. Both countries are playing in the World Cup play-offs in March, their last chance to qualify for this summer’s tournament.
Thankfully, the injured Martin Odegaard hasn’t been included in Norway’s squad, despite seemingly being on the verge of an injury comeback, and Jesus isn’t in Brazil’s squad. So that’s at least a couple of players who should be able to get a rest in.

England, Spain, the Netherlands, Italy, Belgium, and Ecuador are all still to name their squads, and there very well could be more Arsenal players on their lists of call-ups.
