Arsenal’s summer plans continue to evolve, with the Gunners now lining up a move for Nottingham Forest star Morgan Gibbs-White.
The Sun report that Mikel Arteta’s side are considering the 26-year-old as an alternative to Morgan Rogers, given the difficulty in landing the Aston Villa man. However, they will not have a free run at Gibbs-White.
PSG, who are reportedly battling Arsenal for a number of signings this summer, are also said to be keen on the England international. If the two Champions League finalists are competing in the transfer market as zealously as it seems, then the Gunners could be about to land another blow on the Parisians.
According to the BBC, Arsenal have made an approach for PSG defender Emmanuel Mbemba. The 18-year-old will be out of contract at the end of the month and, despite being offered an extension, has not agreed to continue with PSG.
Although he is yet to make his professional debut, the young Frenchman is highly-rated. It is also believed that Mbemba would be open to a move to the Premier League.
Meanwhile, Chelsea’s deal for 18-year-old winger Zadok Yohanna has been hijacked by Brighton. Both Chelsea and Newcastle had £21 million bids accepted for the youngster by Swedish side AIK. However, Yohanna instead opted for the Seagulls and has been officially announced by the seaside club.
Elsewhere, Liverpool are battling to keep hold of Rio Ngumoha. Sky Germany report that Bayern Munich are hoping to land the 17-year-old. However, in Liverpool’s eyes the winger is not for sale.
Bayern’s attention has turned to Ngumoha after they missed out on Anthony Gordon to Barcelona. The two wingers are currently out in Florida together as England prepare for the World Cup, with Ngumoha being awarded his first senior cap yesterday.
