Arsenal still planning move for Morgan Rogers teammate

They may have missed out on signing Morgan Rogers, who is on his way to Chelsea, but Arsenal could still complete a deal for another Aston Villa player this summer.

The Gunners had been targeting Rogers for some time and did not act quickly, with Chelsea reportedly reaching an agreement to add him to their squad this summer.

However, he is not the only Villa player on Arsenal’s radar, as Ezri Konsa is also a target and the Gunners remain interested in bringing the defender to the Emirates.

Arsenal Continue Defender Search

Konsa has been one of the finest defenders in the Premier League over the last few seasons, and the defender was in excellent form as Aston Villa won the Europa League before the World Cup.

According to Football Insider, Arsenal will continue to push to add him to their squad, especially as they could lose William Saliba for the first few months of the season.

The Gunners believe Konsa could provide an important option in defence if they need reinforcement. His performances have made him an attractive target as Arsenal look to maintain their strength.
