Arsenal decided to go big in the summer transfer window as they made a handful of high-profile signings to beef up their squad for the Premier League title race this season. The Gunners managed to acquire the services of Eberechi Eze, Viktor Gyokeres, Martin Zubimendi, Noni Madueke, Cristhian Mosquera and Chrisrian Norgaard. They also signed Pierro Hincapie on loan.
Eberechi Eze
Eze signed for the Gunners in a €69.30m deal. Pound for pound, he has the potential to be the best signing for Arsenal this summer.
The English talent scored 14 times and earned 11 assists in 43 matches for Crystal Palace last season. Hence, we can expect him to have another impressive season, but this time at Arsenal.
Gyokeres arrived from Sporting CP for €65.80m this summer. He has already shown glimpses of his scoring prowess in Arsenal’s 5-0 win over Leeds United recently.
The Swedish striker would be eager to impress in his debut season in the Premier League.
Martin Zubimendi
Zubimendi signed from Real Sociedad after the Gunners agreed to pay €70m for him. He has already formed a good partnership with Declan Rice and Martin Odegaard at the North London club.
The Arsenal fans can expect to see the best of Zubimendi this season.

Noni Madueke
Madueke completed a €56m move from Chelsea earlier this summer. He is more than capable of serving as an ideal back-up to Bukayo Saka at Arsenal.
The English wide player could help the Gunners challenge across all fronts this season.
Cristhian Mosquera
Mosquera signed for the North London giants on a cut-price deal this summer. He will be expected to add more depth to Mikel Arteta’s backline in this campaign.
Christian Norgaard
Arteta also managed to sign Norgaard from Brentford to beef up his midfield department. The experienced midfielder would provide cover for Zubimendi this season.
Pierro Hincapie
Hincapie arrived from Bayer 04 Leverkusen on a loan deal this summer. He can play as a centre-back or as a left-back, which should give Arteta more options in defence.
Arteta has made a number of marquee acquisitions for the Gunners this summer. However, it remains to be seen whether he has enough quality in his squad to beat Liverpool in the Premier League title race this season.
