Arsenal are ready to step up their pursuit of Newcastle United midfielder Bruno Guimaraes.
Various reports claim the Gunners have opened talks over a deal to bring the Brazilian to the Emirates.
But Newcastle are said to want a similar fee to the one which took Sandro Tonali to Spurs, in a deal which was worth around £100m, to even consider selling the 28-year-old.
Sky Sports, meanwhile, say Newcastle have been frustrated by Arsenal’s pursuit of their star man and would only consider at least £80m, with official talks still yet to be opened.
Elsewhere, Morgan Rogers says he has joined “the biggest club in London” after completing his move to Chelsea from Aston Villa or £117m.
Chelsea are also keen on signing Alex Scott from Bournemouth, with BBC Sport reporting that the Cherries have turned down a £64m bid for the midfielder.
Will Lankshear has completed his move to Middlesbrough, for a guaranteed fee of £12m plus £8m in potential add-ons, Hayters understands.
Manchester City forward Phil Foden has signed a new four-year deal with the club.
Ipswich have signed Issa Diop from Fulham in a deal worth around £8.5m.
West Ham have agreed a deal to sell winger Crysencio Summerville to Al Hilal for a fee of £60m.
Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United are all keen on Manchester United winger Marcus Rashford, according to i News.
And Nottingham Forest are trying to sign Ousmane Diomande from Sporting CP.
