Over 500,000 fans are expected to be in attendance with FIFA Women’s Champions Cup also on show

A day 22 years in the making has finally arrived as Arsenal will celebrate the Premier League trophy with their supporters. The Gunners clinched the title 11 days ago, ending a long drought, as a result of Manchester City failing to beat Bournemouth and that night saw fans descend the streets of north London, partying until the early hours of the following morning.

In addition to the Premier League title, the club have confirmed the FIFA Women’s Champions Cup will also be on show during the Arsenal trophy parade following Renee Slegers side’s historic win over Corinthians earlier in the year. Spirits are still expected to be high despite defeat on penalties to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League final yesterday evening.

Though the Gunners missed out on completing a first-ever Premier League and Champions League double, it is still a highly successful season for Mikel Arteta's team and the turnout should reflect that. Follow the trophy parade LIVE below with our dedicated match blog, featuring expert insight and analysis from Matt Verri and Sam Tabuteau in Islington.

Rice message

Declan Rice has expressed his support for Gabriel and Eberechi Eze following Arsenal’s Champions League final defeat by Paris Saint-Germain.

The Gunners lost European football’s showpiece fixture in Budapest on Saturday night in agonising fashion, going down 4-3 on penalties after a hard-fought 1-1 draw at the Puskas Arena.

Gabriel sent the decisive spot-kick over the crossbar, needing to score with Arsenal’s fifth effort of the shootout in order to force sudden death after the pressure had been piled on by PSG defender and Brazil team-mate Lucas Beraldo.

Who has had the biggest trophy parade in Premier League history?

If judged by parade route length and distance, no other club can match the 9.3 mile-long trip taken by Liverpool last year to celebrate lifting the title for only the second time in the Premier League era.

Arne Slot’s side were witnessed by a reported 750,000 fans on Merseyside on a route that cannot be beaten by any other team given its council-approved path around the city and its surrounding areas — a feat that simply isn’t possible for a club like Arsenal based in London.

However, the Gunners have still expanded their planned route for 2026, with the club following a 2 mile route during the Arsene Wenger years that will be more than doubled this year with Arsenal set to travel 5.2 miles across North London to show off their shiny new trophy.

That will make it the second-longest Premier League trophy parade on record, although still some way behind Liverpool’s monster journey around their city to celebrate last year.

Arsenal fans are saying the same thing after Champions League final loss

Arsenal fans expressed their enduring pride in the team after Saturday’s heartbreaking Champions League final loss, while they also fumed over the officiating.

The newly-crowned Premier League champions fell agonisingly short of a maiden European Cup triumph and famous trophy double in Budapest, going down 4-3 on penalties to holders Paris Saint-Germain following a tense 1-1 draw after extra time.

It was a gut-wrenching end to what was so nearly the greatest season in Arsenal’s history, though supporters were quick to rally round the team in recognition of what has still been a superb campaign that will culminate in them celebrating their first Premier League title for 22 years with an open-top bus parade in north London on Sunday.

Luis Enrique explains why Arsenal will win the Champions League soon

Arsenal’s dreams of winning on Europe’s biggest stage for the first time in their 140-year history ended in agony following a 4-3 shootout defeat, with both Eberechi Eze and Gabriel missing their spot-kicks.

It is back-to-back European Cups for PSG and Luis Enrique, and the manager was keen to note Arsenal's achievements throughout the season after a close-fought game.

“Arsenal are getting closer and closer,” he told TNT Sports. “This team adds a bit more attacking power and desire. This team can have everything. It will hurt tonight.”

Will Arsenal’s title parade be bigger than Carnival this year?

Press Box PR have delved into the data and the short answer is no, and for good reason.

Around 2 million people can attend Notting Hill Carnival each year and it’s simply not a good idea to try and house that many people around the Emirates and the planned title route, even the 2026 route that has been expanded to meet increased demands this year.

If Arsenal did want to put on a title parade with the potential to be “bigger than Carni” then their parade route would have to be closer to 20 miles in order to keep the crowds comfortable and safe.

Crucial change Mikel Arteta must make after Champions League final loss

Mikel Arteta has taken Arsenal so far - to within two better penalties of the greatest season in the club's history.

Now, though, he must tweak his side and his gameplan so that perfection is not required.

There must be more of a margin for error so that every loose challenge at the back or misplaced pass on the counter-attack does not carry such huge significance.

Arsenal lose Champions League final

It is a day of positives, but we have to address the negative firstly.

Arsenal have lost the Champions League final, beaten Paris Saint-Germain on penalties.

Gabriel missed the crucial penalty in the shootout, with the scores level at 1-1 after 120 minutes, to confirm the French giants as back-to-back winners.

Kai Havertz’s sixth-minute opener was cancelled out by Ousmane Dembele’s second-half penalty in normal time.
