Gunners great gave his verdict on the post-match scenes
Bukayo Saka scored the only goal at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday night as the Gunners shut out Atletico Madrid to reach their first Champions League final in 20 years.
Such an historic moment sparked jubilant scenes on the pitch and in the stands, including Mikel Arteta leading his players in a line across the pitch to run at the fans and soak in the plaudits.
Speaking after the game, Saka said of the atmosphere: "We felt it. Since we were on the coach, I’ve never seen the Emirates like this in my whole career, I’ve played so many games here.
“It was so special. They pushed us, from the start to the end."
He added: "This is probably the biggest game the Emirates has ever hosted ... all the fans that were here will go home and remember this night forever."

Former Manchester United and England captain, who has won the Champions League, was dismissive of the scenes. He said on Prime Video: "They haven’t won it yet.
"I think the celebrations are a little bit too heavy. Celebrate when you win… but no, they deserve it."
Former Gunners manager Wenger, who guided the club to their first Champions League final in 2006, insisted the celebrations were "absolutely normal".
He said on beIN Sports: "I think Arsenal wanted it a bit more than Atleti and they were more decisive in the duals.
"We said before the game that to go to the final they needed to be strong defensively and they didn’t concede a goal tonight.
"They played a team who for 45 minutes absolutely needed to score a goal and they didn’t give them a chance.
"I believe it shows how strong Arsenal are defensively and how disciplined they are, as well a bit the limitations of Atletico, who were not good enough in the final third.
"In the end it’s a well-deserved win for Arsenal, there’s no doubt they were the better team over the two legs.
"They celebrate well tonight which is normal but you want to focus already on the final and the next games.
"The celebration is deserved and happiness is normal – absolutely normal – but the next step is to go to the final and win in."
