Arteta hopeful Arsenal duo will be back for Carabao Cup final | OneFootball

Mikel Arteta says he hopes to have Jurrien Timber and Martin Odegaard back available for the Carabao Cup final against Manchester City.

Odegaard has been absent for the last six games for his club with a knee issue while Timber missed the midweek win over Bayer Leverkusen.

Arteta says a late decision will be taken on both, following their final training session ahead of the Wembley final.

“We have another training session so hopefully the ones who are in contention can give us good news,” Arteta said.

“Let’s see if they can make it.”
