AS Monaco rival Premier League interest in Gent youngster | OneFootball

Ibrahima Cissé (18) has enjoyed a breakthrough season at KAA Gent and is now attracting interest from some of Europe’s biggest clubs, as per a report from Foot Mercato. 

The forward, who played in 12 games in all competitions, netted once. The Senegalese forward could be on the move this summer. Interest is growing across Europe. In France, there is interest from AS Monaco, who will continue their strategy of picking up the biggest young talents across Europe. Should he arrive at Monaco, he could integrate the club’s Groupe Élite.

However, the Principality club will face stiff competition, Foot Mercato understands. Premier League sides are also in the race to sign Cissé. Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea, and Brighton and Hove Albion all hold an interest in the KAA Gent forward.

There is interest from the Bundesliga, too, in the form of Borussia Dortmund and Red Bull Leipzig. Currently, there are no concrete talks.
