AS Roma confirm Frederic Massara departure less than a year after arrival | OneFootball

AS Roma confirmed on Friday the departure of sporting director Frederic Massara, less than a year after his arrival.

The club said in a statement that it valued his contribution, highlighting his part in securing Champions League qualification and a Serie A podium finish.

Massara took the role in June last year, succeeding Frenchman Florent Ghisolfi.

He had previously worked for Roma between 2011 and 2019. Before returning, he spent the 2024-25 season at Stade Rennais, his only year in Brittany.

On the club’s website, Massara wished the Roma family much success.
